Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
- Plan capacity, configure autoscaling, improve cluster reliability, respond to incidents, and conduct post-mortems.
- Design scalable infrastructure for AI-driven analytics and data processing.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, Terraform configurations, and multi-environment deployments.
- Own monitoring and alerting using Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Administer PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis, and support RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and Temporal.
- Manage secrets, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, encryption, VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Optimize cloud costs, identify waste, right-size resources, and report on spending efficiency.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and use AI-assisted development tools to ship infrastructure changes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE role.
- Hands-on experience with most of AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes; Helm; GitHub CI; Terraform; PostgreSQL; ClickHouse; Redis; RabbitMQ; AWS SQS; Temporal; and monitoring and alerting tools.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
- Practical experience with Claude Code or agentic coding, including validating AI-generated code.
- Availability during Eastern Standard Time and fluency in English.
- Preferred: Go or Python development experience, Vault, Packer, ClickHouse administration, and experience supporting data-intensive pipelines.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and comfort working in a fast-changing startup environment.
