Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure with Kubernetes.
- Design scalable, reliable infrastructure for AI-driven analytics and data processing.
- Plan capacity, configure autoscaling, respond to incidents, and lead post-mortems.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, Terraform configurations, and multi-environment setups.
- Own monitoring and alerting using Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis storage systems.
- Support RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and Temporal message-broker and workflow infrastructure.
- Manage secrets, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, encryption, and other infrastructure security controls.
- Design and configure VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Monitor cloud costs, identify waste, right-size resources, and report on spending efficiency.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Hands-on experience with most of AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Helm charts, GitHub CI, Terraform, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, Temporal, Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development, including Claude Code or agentic coding, with the ability to validate AI-generated code.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity, high-velocity work, and shifting startup priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability in high-volume, high-stakes systems.
- Availability aligned with the US Eastern Time zone.
- Fluency in English.
- Golang or Python development experience is a plus.
- Experience with Vault or Packer is a plus.
- ClickHouse administration experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting data-intensive pipelines is a plus.
