Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with one or more of C, C++, or Go.
- At least 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or working with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Experience with software-defined networking controllers, network virtualization, network function virtualization, Kubernetes networking, CNI, and eBPF.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience developing low-level systems software and working with the Linux kernel, networking stacks, and cryptographic APIs.
