Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for AI-driven features.
- Define, deploy, and manage AI infrastructure using Terraform on AWS.
- Create robust frameworks to evaluate AI system quality.
- Make decisions on tradeoffs between model quality, response time, and infrastructure cost.
- Collaborate with core engineering to integrate AI features into the main application.
- Build backend systems and data flows for multi-step, autonomous AI workflows.
Requirements
- 3 to 6+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Python and its ecosystem for web services and data processing.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud platforms.
- Comfort operating in a 0→1 environment for AI-native product development.
