Responsibilities
- Lead projects from requirements definition through system design, software development, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain external SIM management systems for MVNE/MVNO services.
- Develop and maintain billing and payment systems for MVNE/MVNO services.
- Manage outsourced system registration and changes for customer information, billing, and dunning.
- Manage outsourced system development, maintenance, and operations.
- Develop and maintain internal systems supporting Rakuten Mobile’s corporate business.
- Manage vendors and coordinate cross-functional activities to advance projects.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in web application development and maintenance.
- Experience constructing servers and networks in the cloud.
- At least 3 years of work experience at a Japanese company.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency, or JLPT N1 or higher for non-Japanese nationals.
- TOEIC score of 600 or higher, or an equivalent qualification.
- A positive, challenge-oriented mindset and ability to adapt to change.
- Preferred: Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination certification.
- Preferred: Business-level English proficiency.
- Preferred: Knowledge of MVNO/MVNE business.
