Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate single- and multi-agent AI systems with tool/function calling, orchestration, state, and memory management.
- Build and optimize RAG solutions covering retrieval, chunking, re-ranking, citations, source grounding, and document lifecycle management.
- Implement prompt-injection defenses, PII/DLP handling, policy enforcement, secrets management, and other AI security controls.
- Establish evaluation and testing practices for agents and generative AI components.
- Drive LLMOps observability through logging, tracing, monitoring, feedback loops, A/B testing, cost and latency optimization, and rollback strategies.
- Administer and govern enterprise AI platforms, including SSO, access controls, permissions, provisioning, auditing, and reporting.
- Define AI governance standards for data classification, approved use cases, retention, compliance, and security requirements with IT, Security, and Legal.
- Integrate agents into business workflows using triggers, workflows, API connectors, error handling, monitoring, and retries.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Software engineering skills including Python, API design and integration, testing, and clean code.
- Proven experience building AI agents with tool/function calling, orchestration patterns, and stateful workflows.
- Hands-on expertise in RAG and search, including citation and source-grounding logic.
- Experience administering and governing multiple enterprise AI platforms, including M365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
- Understanding of generative AI security and compliance, including PII/DLP, access controls, prompt injection, and audit logs.
- Familiarity with system architectures, APIs, and integrating machine-learning models into production environments.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and GCP and CI/CD processes is a plus.
- Analytical mindset, strong teamwork, and a solution-oriented working style.
