Responsibilities
- Design and configure SAP IS Retail and SAP S/4HANA Retail solutions covering pricing, cost and retail prices, promotions, bonus buys, retail master data, assortment, listing, article hierarchies, and merchandise categories.
- Configure SAP CAR/POSDTA, including POS inbound and outbound interfaces, UDF/DDF features, BAdIs, and multichannel processes on HANA.
- Create solution designs, functional designs, technical specifications, and custom interfaces or objects while integrating SAP Retail with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Map TLog data to the PIPE inbound format and support POS integration with ECC and SD-FI.
- Perform unit testing and support SIT, UAT, cutover activities, code reviews, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, participate in team discussions, and independently contribute as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in SAP for Retail is required.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail implementation, including pricing, promotions, SAP CAR, and at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
- The posting also specifies 6–8 years of SAP S/4HANA Retail implementation experience and 4–6 years of SAP S/4HANA Retail pricing, promotions, and CAR consulting experience.
- Proficiency in SAP for Retail, SAP S/4HANA Retail, SAP CAR, SAP POSDTA, and related SAP technologies.
- Experience with SAP Vistex, Conditions Contracts, Markdown Planning, Price Family, retail master data, POS integration, and PIPE inbound formats.
- Knowledge of SAP CAR/POSDTA configuration on HANA, POS inbound and outbound interfaces, UDF/DDF features, BAdIs, ECC integration, and SD-FI integration.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and troubleshoot SAP IS Retail configurations and processes.
- Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies, modern programming languages and frameworks, agile development practices and tools, and software issue resolution.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
