Responsibilities
- Validate and assess the severity of publicly and privately disclosed security vulnerabilities.
- Drive security issues to resolution through continuous engagement with engineering teams.
- Build AI-powered automation tools and playbooks to scale the vulnerability management pipeline.
- Champion remediation of industry-wide vulnerabilities and reduce preventable vulnerabilities.
- Identify security gaps and collaborate with product engineering teams on hardening opportunities.
- Investigate systemic vulnerability trends to improve product risk posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3–4 years of practical experience.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience designing and implementing AI-powered automation playbooks using Python, prompt engineering, tool/API orchestration, and scalable maintainable scripts.
- Strong understanding of security concepts supporting root-cause analysis and data-driven vulnerability trend decisions.
- Ability to work independently, remain accountable, adapt to change, and communicate professionally.
