Base Salary

$145k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Validate and assess the severity of publicly and privately disclosed security vulnerabilities.
  • Drive security issues to resolution through continuous engagement with engineering teams.
  • Build AI-powered automation tools and playbooks to scale the vulnerability management pipeline.
  • Champion remediation of industry-wide vulnerabilities and reduce preventable vulnerabilities.
  • Identify security gaps and collaborate with product engineering teams on hardening opportunities.
  • Investigate systemic vulnerability trends to improve product risk posture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3–4 years of practical experience.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10, and mitigation techniques.
  • Experience designing and implementing AI-powered automation playbooks using Python, prompt engineering, tool/API orchestration, and scalable maintainable scripts.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts supporting root-cause analysis and data-driven vulnerability trend decisions.
  • Ability to work independently, remain accountable, adapt to change, and communicate professionally.
