Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Playwright-based automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites for web applications, including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Develop automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Integrate automated tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI pipelines.
- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA.
- Analyze test results, provide reports, improve test coverage, and increase automation reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with manual testers, developers, product owners, and stakeholders on requirements and testing outcomes.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior testers and work independently on quality-focused initiatives.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience is required; the posting additionally specifies a minimum of five years of automated testing experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright is required.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript is required.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or Jest is required.
- Knowledge of the Page Object Model and automation design patterns is required.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC, Git, and version control systems is required.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is required.
- Experience with the Playwright API, Cucumber, cross-browser testing, Docker, cloud testing platforms, or basic SQL is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent working skills are expected.
