Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Create and maintain automated testing solutions, frameworks, and test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution while improving software performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable software solutions.
- Document development processes and code changes for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Participate in team discussions, solve work-related problems independently, and become a subject-matter expert.
- Guide and support junior team members in their professional development.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of overall professional experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in automated testing is required.
- Proficiency in automated testing and experience with TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or Jest.
- Knowledge of the Page Object Model and automation design patterns.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, software quality practices, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Ability to design and implement functional and non-functional test cases.
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to resolution.
- API testing experience with Postman, Rest Assured, or Playwright API is preferred.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and experience with cross-browser testing are preferred.
- Exposure to Docker or cloud testing platforms and basic SQL knowledge for data validation are preferred.
- Completion of 15 years of full-time education is required.
