Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and web application test suites.
- Collaborate with manual testers, developers, and product owners to understand requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA.
- Integrate automated tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI pipelines.
- Analyze test results, provide reports, improve test coverage, and enhance automation reliability and performance.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is required; the additional information specifies a minimum of 5 years in automated testing.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or Jest.
- Knowledge of Page Object Model and automation design patterns.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC, Git, and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
- Preferred experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or Playwright API; BDD frameworks such as Cucumber; cross-browser testing; Docker or cloud testing platforms; and basic SQL for data validation.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
