Responsibilities
- Provide SAP application development services to internal customers across global teams and IT partners.
- Prioritize and delegate requests, analyze problems and requirements, and perform risk/benefit analysis.
- Develop ABAP enhancements and resolve incidents using ABAP, S/4HANA, and Fiori.
- Develop and update SAP applications and programs for SAP on HANA.
- Develop ABAP backend REST APIs for external systems and frontend consumption.
- Support unit, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing, including defect resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and specifications and conduct code quality reviews.
- Participate in project implementations and the development of modifications and enhancements.
- Identify and remediate ABAP code vulnerabilities and help maintain technical standards and policies.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience developing SAP ABAP applications, including RICEFW.
- At least 2 years of experience developing SAP Fiori applications.
- At least 2 years of experience developing ABAP backend REST APIs for external system or frontend consumption.
- Experience developing, updating, or fitting programs for SAP on HANA.
- Knowledge of CDS, BTP, RAP, and CAP.
- At least 1 year of experience using ATC and knowledge of OAuth for ABAP code security.
- Experience with SAP application development, requirements analysis, technical documentation, and application development best practices.
- Knowledge of Agile development, Waterfall, and ITSM incident and change management.
- Ability to learn technical standards, policies, skills, and technologies to address team capability needs.
