Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable network systems and production network validation strategies.
- Build automation frameworks, scripts, dashboards, telemetry tools, alerting systems, and configuration management extensions.
- Design reusable test strategies and cases, review network changes, and support compliance and deployment-readiness validation.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, network health monitoring, and operational support tooling.
- Analyze network performance, capacity, latency, throughput, and packet loss to drive infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate milestones with project and program managers and provide technical oversight across initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers, serve as a technical subject-matter expert, lead customer escalations, and influence architecture and roadmap decisions.
- Participate in interviewing, candidate assessment, and hiring recommendations.
Requirements
- Advanced experience designing and developing network systems for enterprise, data center, or cloud environments.
- Experience automating network operations and developing reusable scripts, monitoring systems, telemetry, alerting, and infrastructure pipeline extensions.
- Experience designing network test strategies, reusable test cases, validation methods, and change-management practices.
- Ability to lead incident response, root cause analysis, performance analysis, capacity forecasting, and technical customer engagements.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, coordinate moderately complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to support Governance, Risk, and Compliance processes and maintain alignment with security, policy, and deployment standards.
