Responsibilities
- Develop a distributed, resilient, and highly performant network security product for large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Design and implement new features while improving existing systems, functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Create functional specifications, design documents, test plans, clean code, and thorough tests.
- Own and deliver projects end to end while collaborating with a geo-distributed team under minimal supervision.
- Work with development, testing, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Mentor junior team members and participate in technical knowledge-sharing events.
Requirements
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech or equivalent qualification in Computer Science.
- At least 7 years of software development experience focused on distributed systems architecture.
- Advanced programming proficiency in Python, Golang, Java, C, or C++.
- Professional experience developing networking or security products and working with TCP/IP, VLAN, IP, ICMP, and DNS.
- Strong fundamentals in operating systems, multithreaded or multiprocess applications, IPC, and RPC.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Protobuf.
- Strong written and spoken technical and interpersonal communication skills.
