Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, debug, and enhance complex application systems.
- Triage and resolve technical issues and lead testing and debugging efforts.
- Conduct peer code reviews and uphold quality, security, compliance, and risk standards.
- Analyze and remediate application vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology teams to recommend programming solutions.
- Advise senior stakeholders and coach new or lower-level analysts on technical matters.
- Use AI development tools and prompt engineering to support code generation and development.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry in an applications development role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and development.
- Expertise in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience or familiarity with prompt engineering and AI development assistants.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and deadline-management skills.
