Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, deployment, testing, maintenance, and improvement.
- Design, code, configure, develop, and unit-test SAP ABAP functionality based on business requirements.
- Conduct peer code reviews and provide high-quality solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify system defects, resolve production bugs and incidents, and provide L2 support as a developer and subject matter expert.
- Support application transitions into production and discuss infrastructure changes with architects when applicable.
- Contribute to requirements discussions, process improvements, feasibility studies, business cases, and complex process-flow designs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, users, architects, project managers, infrastructure teams, audit, development/testing teams, vendors, and third parties.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliver within agreed priorities and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 9 years of experience as an SAP Developer.
- Development experience with SAP ABAP, ABAP OO, and SAP HANA.
- Working experience with SAP Deposits Management, SAP Banking, SAP FS-BP Business Partner, or SAP BA Bank Analyzer.
- Experience handling production errors, bug fixes, or incidents.
- Experience designing and implementing SAP Enterprise Services integrations.
- Ability to produce high- and low-level designs, estimates, and complex process and business flows.
- Experience managing stakeholders across business units, users, infrastructure, audit, management, and development/testing teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and waterfall delivery models and creating user stories where applicable.
- Awareness of cloud technology is beneficial but not required.
- Hands-on experience with HP ALM, Jira, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, coordination, interpersonal, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work proactively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and across global and local teams.
