Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements and collaborate with stakeholders on Mixed Reality scenarios.
- Create design documents, identify dependencies, and contribute to project, release, and work plans.
- Implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, guide other engineers, monitor services, respond to incidents, and restore service when needed.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
- Design, implement, and maintain public-facing APIs with usability, reliability, backward compatibility, and clear documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C++, C#, or Java.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience, or master's degree and 6+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience developing user interfaces with native or managed frameworks.
- Preferred: experience developing 3D graphics applications, including real-time rendering and interactive 3D experiences.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800-$234,700 per year.
- The base pay range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations is USD $160,200-$261,000 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
