Base Salary
$260k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize product experiences for a well-loved consumer product.
- Design and develop the GenAI + Discovery Platform, including LLMs and workflow orchestration.
- Create self-serve interfaces to enable teams to ship AI features faster.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of AI capabilities, ensuring reliability and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to inform and enable new features.
- Utilize Strava's unique datasets to enhance AI capabilities and product decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building and operating complex AI or backend systems.
- Experience in developing AI platform tooling or developer-facing infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with large language models in production.
- Proficiency in search systems like Elasticsearch and Vector Search.
- Experience in backend service development on cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Strong technical leadership and ability to lead multi-team projects.
