Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performance enterprise integration architectures using Apache Camel.
- Develop modular Java solutions with reusable components and strong object-oriented design, concurrency, testing, and performance practices.
- Translate business requirements into technical architectures and define integration patterns for routing, transformation, and error handling.
- Review engineering designs for architectural standards, coding quality, security controls, and compliance alignment.
- Guide hybrid deployments spanning on-premises infrastructure and cloud services.
- Optimize Apache Camel and Java solutions through profiling, tuning, and refactoring.
- Document reference architectures, solution blueprints, and integration guidelines.
- Provide architectural support during releases, incident reviews, and production problem analysis.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations aligned with organizational strategy and client needs.
- Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement using production metrics, user feedback, and architecture reviews.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of professional experience in complex enterprise environments, with significant solution and technology architecture responsibilities.
- Deep hands-on proficiency with Apache Camel, including routing, mediation, transformation, and enterprise protocol and data-format integration.
- Strong Java expertise covering object-oriented design, concurrency, performance optimization, and testing strategies.
- Familiarity with modern Java frameworks used in large-scale solutions.
- Substantial experience in the high technology sector and understanding of relevant products, services, data flows, and compliance considerations.
- Practical experience designing hybrid architectures across on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, microservices concepts, and event-driven approaches.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders.
