Responsibilities
- Build production systems that connect LLMs and coding agents with data and product APIs.
- Design and deploy fast, secure microservices in Python and optionally TypeScript.
- Build reliable connectors to energy company portals and public data sources.
- Help design backend infrastructure for AI agents to read, reason, and act autonomously.
- Own systems that require 24/7 operation with low latency and high reliability.
- Ship CI/CD pipelines, logs, and metrics for observability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with customer success and sales teams to translate real-world problems into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience building production backends or full-stack systems using Python and GCP or AWS.
- An AI-native mindset with excitement for integrating LLMs and tools like LangChain and OpenAI APIs.
- Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate based on feedback.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex systems to technical and business teams.
- Independent executor who can scope, execute, and deliver work without handholding.
- Startup-ready mindset, comfortable with shifting priorities and challenges.
- Impact-driven with a focus on connecting code to customer outcomes and business metrics.
