Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Drive execution of the People team’s AI transformation roadmap by architecting, building, and maintaining intelligent workflow solutions.
- Build production agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, system integrations, and AI-powered internal tools.
- Create reproducible blueprints, demonstrations, documentation, and guides that enable the People team to sustain AI ownership.
- Analyze Snowflake data models and Workday-to-Snowflake pipelines to ensure AI systems consume data reliably.
- Design evaluation frameworks measuring AI accuracy, latency, hallucination rates, retrieval precision, utility, and user satisfaction.
- Implement privacy protections, role-based access, audit trails, and other controls for sensitive People data.
- Translate People strategy and operational needs into scoped and sequenced engineering work.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams on infrastructure, security, standards, maintainability, fairness, auditability, and responsible deployment.
- Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and tooling and recommend when to adopt them.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional, hands-on software engineering or builder experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building production LLM and AI tooling, including agent frameworks, pipelines, retrieval systems, or AI-integrated workflows.
- Familiarity with LLM observability tools such as LangSmith, Datadog LLM monitoring, or equivalent.
- Systems-level understanding of data retrieval, vector embeddings, and combining structured and unstructured data for intelligent internal tools.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy standards and experience implementing audit trails, role-based permissions, and access controls for confidential datasets.
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical options, trade-offs, and progress to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous, greenfield environments and drive projects from scope definition through production.
- Familiarity with HR or People systems such as Workday or Greenhouse is a plus but is not required.
