Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based automation solutions and Atlas workflows for operational and financial processes.
- Replace manual, Excel macro, Power Query, and end-user computing processes with scalable production-grade automation.
- Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems, monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and finance platforms.
- Enable deployment through Glyph and develop workflow visibility, monitoring dashboards, and controlled execution features.
- Monitor platform health, resolve incidents and defects, perform performance tuning, and support root cause analysis.
- Support project delivery, SIT and UAT phases, defect triage, and collaboration with project managers, business analysts, QA teams, and support teams.
- Prepare technical designs, runbooks, operational guides, logging, monitoring, audit trails, and governance documentation.
- Identify additional automation opportunities and use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in software development or automation engineering in enterprise environments.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience building automation services and backend workflows.
- Hands-on experience with workflow or process automation platforms such as ProcessMaker or equivalent.
- Experience replacing Excel macros, Power Query, and EUC tools with scalable automation solutions.
- Experience with system integration, API development, data processing, logging, monitoring, exception handling, and secure resilient application design.
- Experience with operational automation, monitoring, reporting, runbooks, incident handling, and support environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, independent working, and global cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Desirable experience includes Azure, MongoDB, observability tools such as Grafana, and GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
