Base Salary
$58k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, debugging, and optimization of maintainable and scalable software solutions.
- Create technical documentation covering system designs, APIs, and architectural diagrams.
- Collaborate with managers, hardware engineers, network engineers, and other stakeholders to implement requirements and integrate software, hardware, and network components.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve development processes and system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 0+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming in multiple languages, including Java, C++, and C#.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, including installation automation.
- Understanding of computing system architectures, virtual machines, and containers, plus command-line experience with UNIX-based operating systems or Windows.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting and maintain a final Secret clearance.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Huntsville, Alabama.
- Preferred qualifications include Atlassian workflow management, software development and testing, uncrewed aircraft systems, Gradle, and hands-on hardware experience.
