Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Enhance a strategic risk management platform and integrate it with trading systems across markets.
- Collaborate with management to integrate functions and identify system enhancements.
- Evaluate complex business and system processes to solve critical issues.
- Develop and maintain Java-based solutions with architectural alignment.
- Create coding standards for testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Analyze problems and develop innovative solutions for multi-threaded, distributed systems.
- Mentor junior developers and analysts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive Core Java 17 or above experience with strong knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, messaging systems such as Kafka and Solace, and the Spring framework.
- Experience with cloud technologies and container platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, and Gradle.
- Experience with document databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience developing multi-threaded, distributed systems.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Cucumber.
- Solid understanding of the FIX protocol.
- Beneficial experience with Chronicle, low-latency programming, time-series databases such as KDB, and equities trading OMS.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a globally distributed team.

- Full-time position.
- Primary location salary range is $120,800.00-$170,800.00.
