Responsibilities
- Lead AI development end to end, from initial concept through production deployment and iteration.
- Design and implement LLM-powered solutions that extract meaning from complex technical specifications.
- Explore multimodal, multi-agent, and reinforcement-learning approaches for agentic code generation and tool use.
- Develop strategies for latency, output variance, and graceful error handling at scale.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into the platform.
- Guide junior engineers and establish AI development best practices.
Requirements
- Experience delivering production AI systems involving language models, preferably for document understanding or agentic workflows.
- Strong software engineering skills and experience with distributed systems and production-grade code.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and transformers.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models.
- Experience wrangling, cleaning, and preprocessing large-scale heterogeneous datasets.
- Understanding of AI safety, bias mitigation, and ethical considerations.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with mission-critical or high-stakes production AI environments is a bonus.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure for large-scale AI infrastructure is a bonus.
- Research or applied experience with LLM agents, reinforcement learning, RLHF, RLAIF, constrained decoding, or program synthesis is a bonus.
- Open-source contributions or publications in AI/ML venues are a bonus.
