Responsibilities
- Develop applications and platform services using Golang, Kafka, Flink, GCP, SQL, and related technologies.
- Support Kafka applications from design through implementation.
- Contribute to real-time streaming and storage solutions independently and with the wider development team.
- Create automation and developer tooling and identify technical improvements.
- Support release automation, cloud infrastructure management, system integration, and platform services.
- Conduct functional and performance testing and assist the testing team during project testing phases.
- Maintain clean coding practices and provide quality assurance for code.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Golang and/or Python.
- Background using Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with high-volume transactional environments.
- Track record developing low-latency, highly available, and scalable solutions.
- Knowledge of dashboards and good monitoring-stack practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with independent deadlines and deliverables.
- Competence working with Linux.
