Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain pipelines, environments, and automation frameworks supporting PLM delivery through development, test, UAT, staging, and production.
- Collaborate with PLM architects, configurators, developers, testers, security teams, and release stakeholders.
- Improve pipeline reliability, environment stability, deployment repeatability, release quality, and technical controls.
- Maintain documentation supporting releases and ensure platform changes are repeatable, traceable, and supportable.
- Automate infrastructure, application deployment, and environment configuration.
- Support release activities including deployment rehearsals, data-migration rehearsals, cutover planning, and go-live for enterprise engineering platforms.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, build engineering, or release engineering within an enterprise or complex programme environment.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
- Practical knowledge of Git-based source control, branching strategies, release branches, pull requests, artifact repositories, and configuration baselines.
- Experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies for automation.
- Sole UK national status is required due to the nature of the project.
- Useful experience includes Siemens Teamcenter deployment approaches and utilities such as BMIDE, TEM, Active Workspace, Dispatcher, preferences, workflow templates, and environment promotion.
- Useful experience includes NX or other CAD authoring environments integrated with enterprise PLM platforms.
- Useful experience includes Teamcenter upgrades, patching, cloning, environment refreshes, disaster-recovery rehearsals, automated testing, data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Experience in defence, aerospace, nuclear, rail, or another highly regulated engineering sector is useful.
