Base Salary
$157k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, productionize, and maintain APIs, services, and systems using Ruby, React, and Typescript.
- Predict and measure the performance and outcomes of designed systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional roles to build large-scale billing features.
- Analyze user needs and product requirements to determine technical specifications.
- Implement technical designs through programming tasks while upholding high engineering standards.
- Implement unit, functional, and integration tests to prevent bugs and regressions.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes, contributing to the team's on-call rotation.
- Debug and identify the root cause of errors in complex systems.
- Provide mentorship and help onboard new hires.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.
- 1.5 years of experience with Ruby, React, Typescript, and other relevant programming languages.
- 1.5 years of experience translating business needs into software requirements and designs.
- 1.5 years of experience using SQL or related query languages for data analysis.
- 1.5 years of experience with API development and debugging production issues.
- 1.5 years of experience leading cross-team projects and managing dependencies.
