Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reusable integration, end-to-end, and load-test automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in partnership with developers.
- Conduct automated, manual exploratory, smoke, functional, UAT, API, security, and accessibility testing.
- Identify coverage gaps, reduce system fragility, and turn production incidents and operational data into quality improvements.
- Use SAST/DAST tools and Axe/Lighthouse to support security and accessibility goals.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers on testing practices and responsible use of AI coding tools.
- Advocate for testability, maintainability, and clear acceptance criteria in design discussions and Agile ceremonies.
- Document automation strategies and promote shared ownership of quality across engineering.
- Use AI-assisted development and agentic coding workflows to accelerate test creation while validating generated outputs.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
- Experience with modern end-to-end automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or Selenium.
- Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Experience with API testing and automation.
- Experience with BrowserStack or similar cross-browser testing platforms.
- Experience with manual functional, exploratory, and UAT testing approaches.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Ability to review and validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to own quality initiatives within a team.
- Salesforce experience, including Salesforce-integrated systems, is nice to have.
- Experience testing microservices, micro-frontends, monorepos, or trunk-based development is nice to have.
- Experience with SonarCloud, SonarQube, Terraform, AWS, GitHub Actions, accessibility testing tools, or AI-assisted test-generation workflows is nice to have.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, prompt engineering, AI-generated test cases, and validating AI-produced code is nice to have.
