Base Salary
$135k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies for smart contracts, blockchain integrations, platform components, APIs, and web applications.
- Build and maintain automated unit, integration, scenario-based, API, and UI test frameworks.
- Conduct security, vulnerability, performance, load, transaction-flow, data-validation, and production-verification testing.
- Document test plans, test cases, quality metrics, and status reports while managing defects through resolution verification.
- Establish QA standards and best practices, participate in code reviews, and mentor team members on testing techniques and automation.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and stakeholder testing efforts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
- Support incident analysis, root-cause investigations, and post-deployment validation.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong QA engineering background with experience in test automation.
- Experience testing APIs, distributed systems, or complex integrations.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.
- Preferred experience testing blockchain applications, smart contracts, or cryptocurrency systems.
- Preferred familiarity with smart contract testing frameworks such as Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, Brownie, and Anchor.
- Preferred experience with security testing, vulnerability assessment, performance testing, and DevOps or CI/CD integration.
- Preferred experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer, Postman, REST Assured, or Pytest.
- Knowledge of blockchain transaction lifecycles, network behavior, transaction simulation, state testing, gas optimization validation, and smart contract vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of cryptographic concepts, database query and data validation techniques, Docker-based test environments, and cloud test infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication abilities, collaboration skills, and comfort with evolving requirements.
