JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Designs, develops, executes, debugs, and troubleshoots secure, high-quality software solutions.
- Creates architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and implements designs in production code.
- Develops visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets to improve applications and systems.
- Identifies data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Supports operational stability through monitoring, alerting, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and production support.
- Participates in software engineering communities, emerging-technology events, and an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering, or equivalent experience, with 3+ years of applied hands-on development experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, automated testing, and production support.
- Proficiency in one or more modern object-oriented compiled languages such as Java, C#, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using programming and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile engineering practices.
- Understanding of operational resiliency, security, monitoring, alerting, incident triage, and root-cause analysis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile applications.
- Ability to use AI/LLM tools responsibly while following data privacy, security, and usage guidelines.
- Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies, Java Spring Boot services, and cloud technologies.
