Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own software features end to end, from clarifying requirements and writing designs through coding, instrumentation, deployment, and production operations.
- Build live asset-state, event-correlation, automated-triage, containment, self-service workflow, and security metrics capabilities.
- Develop high-throughput streaming and detection functionality that reduces event-to-detection and detection-to-containment latency.
- Debug, profile, optimize, and improve production systems, and automate recurring operational work.
- Code independently, make design tradeoffs with guidance, review teammates’ code, and operate the systems you build.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience with security domains such as access control, network security, application or system security, security architecture, cryptography, or operations security.
- Preferred: experience with performance optimization, distributed systems, real-time event correlation or stream processing, LLM APIs or agent frameworks, and graph databases or knowledge graph platforms.
