Responsibilities

  • Participate in mission-critical software projects that support Priceline’s business and travel applications.
  • Build low-latency, high-throughput transactional services using Java or similar programming languages.
  • Develop and maintain applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, React, and related tooling.
  • Write SQL queries to collect and analyze real-time application data.
  • Design, develop, and optimize generative AI-driven applications and integrate them into user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, UX designers, and product managers to define user needs and deliver AI solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture and implementation decisions for applied generative AI models.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with AI and UX trends and propose new approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in software engineering and development.
  • Strong coding experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, React, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.
  • Hands-on experience with applied generative AI development using LangChain, Vercel AI, Mastra AI, Spring AI, or model provider APIs.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with GraphQL is preferred.
  • Experience with Docker and cloud environments, especially GCP and AWS, is preferred.
