Responsibilities
- Integrate firmware, embedded applications, signal-processing algorithms, and other software components onto target hardware.
- Develop and maintain software integration plans, procedures, and automated build and deployment scripts.
- Collaborate with software development and systems engineering teams to define interfaces and resolve integration dependencies.
- Configure and maintain build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and the software integration environment.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement cross-team solutions.
- Document integration processes, software builds, and release configurations for repeatability and traceability.
- Support system-level testing through stable software builds and software-hardware integration verification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software integration, DevOps, or software engineering.
- Preferred experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems, or software-hardware integration.
- Active U.S. Security Clearance required.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or telecommunications environments is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, documentation, attention-to-detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment and use a computer for extended periods; occasional travel may be required.
