Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content and adapt it based on updates and feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing effects on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Implement solutions in specialized ML areas and contribute to ML infrastructure, model optimization, and data processing.
- Improve ML resource efficiency, operational automation, developer velocity, and intelligent tooling for YouTube Ads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with C++ or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML specialization.
- At least 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure, including areas such as model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with Ads, machine learning infrastructure, machine learning optimization, TensorFlow, deep learning, or large language models.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
