Responsibilities
- Build and ship security features for North, Cohere’s AI workspace platform
- Develop autonomous agents that interact with sensitive enterprise data
- Write and ship minimal code for low-resource environments with highly stringent deployment mechanisms
- Introduce new tools to enhance North’s security capabilities
- Develop alternatives to popular libraries or tooling when required by security and privacy considerations
- Perform application security testing to evaluate code resilience against real-world threats
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on developing user-facing security features
- Strong development skills and substantial experience shipping Python in production
- Solid knowledge of session management, multi-factor authentication, and secure coding practices
- Strong coding abilities and comfort working across the stack, including understanding and fixing issues outside the primary codebase
- Flexible and constructive problem-solving approach
- Ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and objectives
