Base Salary
$89k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and maintain web services and supporting infrastructure.
- Use Git and GitLab CI/CD to develop, test, and deploy tools and services.
- Manage TLS certificates, reverse proxies, and related infrastructure for reliable service delivery.
- Create and maintain data-collection pipelines, automation, and orchestration workflows using NiFi, Airflow, n8n, and Playwright.
- Support development teams across connected and disconnected environments, including cloud services where needed.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, iOS signing and sideloading automation, and container-based test infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve infrastructure, observability, and network reliability to support developer productivity.
- Collaborate effectively with remote peers and global customers across time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least two years of related experience, or eight years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Authorization to work in Canada or the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Preferred: eight years of platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering experience, including disconnected or offline environments.
- Preferred: strong Python and JavaScript skills with hands-on Git and GitLab pipeline experience.
- Preferred: experience with TLS certificates, reverse proxies, automation and orchestration tools, and headless browser automation.
- Preferred: experience with AWS S3, Linux administration, VMware vSphere, virtual machines, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Preferred: Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking knowledge, including VLANs, switch configuration, and network troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, TrueNAS Scale, MinIO, and AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and Route 53.
- Preferred: familiarity with iOS build, code-signing, provisioning, and sideloading workflows.

- Salary range of $88,500-$164,500 for the Greater D.C. area.
