Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the technical lifecycle of federal enterprise deployments.
- Work with customer engineering teams to define deployment scope and ensure compliance.
- Provide technical expertise on deployment, security, and platform architecture.
- Contribute to the core product codebase to improve deployability and reliability.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable product requirements.
- Build product extensions and automation using Cognition’s APIs.
- Serve as a key link between the Federal team and core infrastructure teams.
- Handle escalated technical issues requiring deep debugging.
Requirements
- Strong engineering foundation with experience in complex, distributed systems.
- 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience in government or government-focused companies.
- Direct experience with compliance and security controls for federal environments.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Track record of pursuing excellence in any domain.
- Experience operating cross-functionally in startups or larger companies.
