Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end product validation for transaction-switching solutions as part of an integration team.
  • Develop and use test engineering methodologies, including unit, functional, and integration testing.
  • Build and drive test automation and self-service quality practices, including automation frameworks with Java.
  • Monitor customer insights and production issues to identify quality improvements.
  • Conduct project-level reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections as a first reviewer.
  • Coordinate with business owners, product owners, enterprise architecture, product, development, test, and vendor teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent; test engineering experience is preferred.
  • Experience with unit, functional, and integration testing and systematic test-strategy analysis.
  • Practical experience building and using test automation frameworks with Java is preferred.
  • Experience testing microservices, event-driven applications, and databases is preferred.
  • Experience testing SFTP, sockets, HTTPS, and RPC protocols and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of payment simulation tools such as t3, card and payment flows, and ISO 8583/20022 payment protocols.
  • Knowledge of cards and payments, message flows and formats, and cloud-based platform architecture is preferred.
  • Experience with digital-native architecture, Spring Boot, and cloud technology, preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile or SAFe environment is preferred.
