Responsibilities
- Build high-performance Python services for ingesting, processing, and distributing real-time sensor data.
- Develop TypeScript and React web applications for operators to monitor missions and investigate sensor data.
- Design and build secure, scalable Azure services for distributed radar systems.
- Define infrastructure as code and instrumentation for owned systems.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and field deployment teams.
- Influence architecture and help establish the engineering foundations of the platform.
Requirements
- Experience building scalable backend systems and owning production services.
- Experience with distributed systems and real-time data problems.
- Ability to use AI coding tools thoughtfully and determine what to delegate.
- Willingness to travel to San Francisco for approximately one week each quarter.
- Python backend, TypeScript and React web application, and Azure infrastructure-as-code experience are listed as preferred qualifications.
- Right to work in the UK is required.
