Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AWS GovCloud infrastructure that meets CMMC Level 2 requirements.
- Create and manage a roadmap for adopting and deploying infrastructure patterns and developer tooling.
- Maintain Terraform and IaC tooling, manage Kubernetes workload infrastructure, and co-develop developer tools.
- Improve developer productivity by leveraging existing tools and creating new ones.
- Integrate third-party tooling while maintaining security and compliance requirements.
- Help interview, onboard, and mentor new engineers.
Requirements
- Deep experience with AWS, including designing and operating production infrastructure at scale.
- Proficient with Kubernetes and familiar with Cloud-Native Technologies like Helm and ArgoCD.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code skills, ideally with Terraform.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code in Python, Rust, or similar languages.
- Effective communication skills in technical and compliance contexts.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and take ownership of outcomes.
- Value operational excellence and understand the impact of infrastructure reliability.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment in Washington, DC.
