Base Salary

$180k - $230k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine DSP algorithms to detect, identify, and track RF signals.
  • Help transform a passive radar system into a distributed spectrum-sensing system through software and algorithm development.
  • Integrate and test signal-processing software with RF/SDR hardware and host-processing platforms.
  • Support modeling, software integration, field demonstrations, and collaboration with Business Development, Production, and other Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant development experience.
  • Experience with RF sensing systems, advanced signal-processing techniques, recorded and synthetic I/Q data, and software-defined radios.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of FFT analysis, matched filtering, and cyclostationary analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or MATLAB for algorithm development and integration.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Ability to work onsite 3–5 days per week in Hawthorne, California, or Washington, D.C., and travel periodically up to 30%.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, current security clearance, expertise in cyclostationary processing, communication-waveform identification, electromagnetic-spectrum sensing and classification, tactical signal-processing applications, RFSoC hardware, JIRA, Confluence, and DoD or government experience.
