Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, database, mobile, and performance testing.
- Create, execute, and maintain functional, integration, regression, performance, manual, and automated test cases.
- Write reusable test scripts and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze requirements and develop test scenarios, test data, traceability matrices, metrics, and regression suites.
- Diagnose test results, analyze datasets across multiple systems, validate defect fixes, and track corrections through completion.
- Perform web, iOS, Android, native, hybrid, and web application testing, including compatibility and usability testing.
- Collaborate with development teams, product analysts, business stakeholders, and IT on testing plans, schedules, estimates, risks, and go/no-go decisions.
- Communicate testing status and results to IT and key stakeholders.
- Coach and train associate test analysts, test analysts, and other SDETs on QA tools and testing practices.
- Help implement testing process improvements and increase software quality while reducing delivery defects and delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technology in any specialization.
- 5–7 years of comparable work experience.
- At least 1 year in a lead role is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Postman/Newman, JMeter, Appium, API testing, and automated scripting.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript and with BDD tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Experience testing mobile iOS and Android applications, healthcare EMR systems, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, performance testing, security testing, and API testing.
- Knowledge of databases, data relationships, IT infrastructure, on-premise and public cloud networking, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with tools including MS Unit, TestNG, NUnit, Selenium Grid, Jenkins, Docker, Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM, and DevOps.
- Experience training other testers and teaching SDETs about QA tools and toolsets.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, documentation, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Fluency in English for working in a multicultural environment.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is preferred.
