Responsibilities
- Develop features and tools supporting NVIDIA Enterprise Service offerings, including networking and switching products.
- Help enterprise customers and internal users improve the availability, reliability, and overall experience of NVIDIA Networking products.
- Own Ethernet switch network deployment issues from inception through resolution.
- Analyze and solve complex customer problems involving datacenter and networking technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to document, reproduce, and resolve product issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of system software development and troubleshooting experience, ideally including customer-facing work.
- Experience developing with Python and C/C++ in Linux application or embedded software environments.
- Expertise with the Linux networking stack, tools, utilities, and services.
- Deep knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, Layer 2 switching, TCP/IP, routing, ARP, STP, LACP, MLAG, IGMP, PIM, BGP, and OSPF.
- Preferred experience with large-scale network environments, BGP/OSPF overlays, VXLAN, EVPN, IOS, JunOS, EOS, SRv6, HPC, low-latency systems, performance tuning, FRR, Bird, or AI coding tools and agents.
