Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented software with minimal supervision.
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, project discussions, and stakeholder communications.
- Maintain and support existing software applications and troubleshoot defects and production issues.
- Provide live-service support, monitoring, bug identification, and fixes.
- Participate in incident root-cause analysis and drive improvements in application security, maintenance, and resilience.
- Apply test automation and programming tools for performance checks and debugging.
- Lead small technical initiatives and solve complex problems using efficient algorithms and logical analysis.
- Share knowledge with early-career engineers and contribute to team capability building.
- Apply DevOps principles with guidance and follow approved technologies, standard practices, group policies, and release guidelines.
- Use established guidelines and procedures when working with AI tools.
Requirements
- Good understanding of the team application domain and technology used.
- Ability to provide effort estimates for simple changes.
- Ability to develop reliable and efficient software using approved technologies and standard practices.
- Ability to apply traditional and agile best practices to plan, prioritize, and deliver work.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, analyze root causes, and solve problems using logic and data.
- Growing independence in test automation, performance checks, and debugging.
