$198k - $420k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize large-scale ML systems, LLM capabilities, and supporting infrastructure.
- Lead production deployment of scalable ML solutions and ensure performance, scalability, governance, security, and business requirements are met.
- Drive advanced MLOps, observability, model governance, explainability, and performance and cost optimization.
- Define architectural and operational standards, enable safe experimentation, and influence technical direction across products and teams.
- Advise stakeholders and customers by gathering requirements, clarifying ambiguity, and proposing solutions aligned with product capabilities and customer value.
- Mentor engineers, guide teams, optimize workflows, and advance adoption of modern ML techniques.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Hands-on production AI/ML experience with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, vector search, agent workflows, and model evaluation techniques.
- Expertise in distributed systems design and large-scale enterprise product architecture.
- Strong programming skills, proficiency with ML frameworks, and a solid understanding of MLOps practices.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in global, multicultural teams.
