Responsibilities

Build Java and Spring Boot microservice-based enterprise applications.
Translate product requirements and functional maps into technical designs and frameworks.
Prepare and review technical specifications and code, with hands-on coding as needed.
Validate development builds, provide early feedback, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Support production teams in resolving issues and develop tools to improve their productivity.
Oversee and guide multiple development projects while supporting existing applications.
Develop funding, withdrawal, cash-management, treasury-management, messaging-hub, and SaaS platform capabilities.
Align solutions with overall product and technology architecture, including real-time payments and low-latency systems.

Experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.
Experience with messaging and integration middleware such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Knowledge of web technologies and frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of object-oriented design and development.
Experience with Agile development techniques and tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA Software.
Experience with SVN and Git version control systems.
Experience with unit-testing and test-automation frameworks.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker containers, and Kubernetes deployments.
A university qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline, or a strong GitHub portfolio showcasing recent projects.
Understanding of payment systems, real-time capabilities, CI/CD, cloud-based deployment, and ISO 20022 is preferred.
