Responsibilities
- Analyze business objectives and customer requirements to propose technical solutions.
- Prepare effort estimates, high-level estimates, technical approach documents, quotes, risk assessments, and functional and technical approaches.
- Develop, code, unit test, peer review, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Plan and manage software releases, rollouts, patches, schedules, and release notes.
- Provide technical input for pre-sales activities and coordinate product or solution demonstrations for clients.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams on requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues with code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote go-live, dry-run, testing, and deployment support across customer time zones.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline; MCA and MSc in Computer Science are also listed.
- 5 to 7.5 years of total experience.
- Experience with Java, Ext JS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with test management and test execution.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source code control, operating systems, command-line usage, and issue tracking.
- Experience with GitHub and Jenkins, Windows, Linux, Unix, SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio, and JIRA.
- Experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and provide technical guidance.
- Familiarity with Cursor AI, Replit AI, and GitHub Copilot for development, code refactoring, and unit testing is listed.
