Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications aligned with product and architectural initiatives.
- Provide architectural direction, lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and drive architectural governance.
- Design, implement, enhance, and scale reliable systems using modern software architecture and design patterns.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer needs and organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Mentor development staff and help teams resolve technical issues and make effective decisions.
- Drive platform convergence and lead cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with engineering teams, stakeholders, customers, and executive leadership.
- Promote learning cultures, clear communication, continuous improvement, and successful team outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in .NET full-stack development is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is stated.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with 15 years of full-time education.
- Significant experience in architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, system engineering, and implementation of new or existing systems is required.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python is required.
- Experience building products with microservices architectures and extensible APIs is required.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code is required.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives is required.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, engineering toolchains, and translating AI innovation into business and productivity impact is required.
- Preferred qualifications include DevOps knowledge, application monitoring and performance assessment experience, security architecture knowledge, and multi-cloud experience with AWS and Azure.
