Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to solve business and technical problems and use AI tools to improve productivity and learning.
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions and experiences for Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery and Customer Experience & Success businesses.
- Implement features, enhancements, engineering patterns, coding standards, security requirements, and operational best practices.
- Use modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Analyze telemetry, logs, and operational data to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and improve service reliability.
- Maintain team knowledge repositories and accurate technical documentation.
- Partner with peer teams to deliver solutions and support broader business objectives.
- Follow Responsible AI, security, privacy, and compliance requirements when building and operating software solutions.
- Learn and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-powered development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or at least 1 year of equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Development experience using Azure resources and services.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps (VSO), Git, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience using Microsoft technologies and/or .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Ability to use App Insights and Kusto for troubleshooting and operational analysis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is preferred.
- Awareness of Responsible AI principles and familiarity with Azure AI services are preferred.
- Basic awareness of AI concepts such as LLMs, prompt engineering, agents, and RAG is preferred.
