Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
- Provide enterprise infrastructure and cloud modernization expertise through solution briefings, proofs of concept, and direct customer engagement.
- Assess legacy application environments, recommend application-modernization road maps, and identify workloads for hybrid-cloud migration.
- Structure and execute prototyping workshops, validate proposed architectures, develop best practices, and document requirements for engineering prioritization.
- Partner with technical Sales teams, product management, and engineering to drive customer adoption and technical wins.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in container-based application development, integration and deployment, developer operations, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native architecture.
- At least 2 years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines and integrating them with Kubernetes.
- At least 2 years of experience developing, scaling, and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Fluent Japanese and English communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or another technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience as a lead architect or engineer developing cloud-native system architecture for medium to large systems.
- Preferred: experience as a technology consultant, technical architect, enterprise architect, technical sales engineer, or solutions architect.
- Preferred: experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Preferred: excellent business-level communication skills.
